Kitchen exhaust and duct cleaning
Kitchen exhaust system and duct cleaning covers the ductwork that carries grease-laden air from the hood to the exhaust fan. It is out of sight, which is exactly why deposits build up there unnoticed. We clean the system along that whole path.

Follow the air
One path from the cook line to the roof
Air leaves the cooking line and passes through each part in turn. Grease travels with it and settles along the way, which is why cleaning only the hood leaves most of the system untouched.
Ductwork
The hidden run between hood and fan
Exhaust ductwork is usually boxed in, run above ceilings or taken through the building to the roof. Kitchen staff never see its inside walls, so grease that settles there is easy to forget until it has built up.
Duct cleaning brings the accessible, contaminated sections of that run into the job alongside the hood, so the system is dealt with as one.

Who it is for
Who needs the whole system cleaned
Any commercial kitchen that cooks under a hood has ductwork behind it. The buildup is heaviest where cooking volume is high, which is why charbroiling, wok cooking and 24-hour kitchens get the closest attention.
- Independent restaurants
- Restaurant chains and groups
- Hotels and hospitality kitchens
- Grocery stores that cook on site
- Schools and institutional kitchens
- Manufacturing and professional kitchens

Scheduling
Scheduled so the kitchen keeps running
Exhausted offers after-hours and overnight scheduling so routine inspection and cleaning can be completed around the kitchen's operating hours without requiring the business to close early solely for service.
How often a system should be inspected depends on the cooking it serves. Our NFPA 96 guide explains the inspection categories, and a recurring schedule keeps the work on the calendar.
Why does the ductwork matter if the hood looks clean?
Grease-laden air does not stop at the hood. It travels through the ductwork to the exhaust fan, and deposits settle along the way where nobody in the kitchen can see them. A clean canopy says little about the inside of the duct.
What parts of the system are included?
A complete kitchen exhaust system runs from the hood and its filters, where fitted, through the ductwork to the exhaust fan. When grease contamination is found, the affected, accessible parts of that path are what need cleaning. We agree the scope with you before the work starts.
Can duct cleaning happen overnight?
Yes. After-hours and overnight scheduling is available, so the work can be done while the kitchen is closed.
Do you work on multi-location restaurant groups?
Yes. Restaurant chains and multi-location groups are among the kitchens we serve, and recurring schedules can be set up across locations.
